Introduction to Slumping: Fused glass bowl workshop
Saturday Morning 9-12pm

A morning workshop introducing kiln-formed glass techniques. Create a bowl using food-safe enamels, frits, powders, confetti, and specialty glass. Learn to cut, assemble, fire and slump your glass into shape.
Please note that workshop times may run over, depending on the speed of the group.
You will take home a 12cm-25cm bowl depending on the shape you choose during the workshop.
Items made in the workshop will need to be fired overnight twice, they will be available for collection up 2 days after workshop date or posted for an additional fee.
All materials, tools and PPE provided.
Location: The Glaziers Arms, 8 Kent Street, G40 2SR, Glasgow.
Important Information
Health and Safety
Classes are for ages 18+.
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
Some classes may not be suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
PPE must be worn during workshops (provided).
We cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused through the misuse of the studio or equipment.
We reserve the right to remove participants not adhering to health and safety guidelines, with no refund.
Terms and Conditions
Cancellations: Full refund (minus £5 booking fee) for cancellations made 4 weeks in advance. Date changes allowed.
Course Cancellations: We may cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances. Alternative dates or full refunds will be offered.
Payments: Payments via our website or bank transfer.
Accessibility
Participants are expected to stand during the workshops. If you have special requirements, please let us know before booking. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
